is owned and operated by me, Pamela Riesmeyer. I
have an extensive background in computer use, PC technology and hardware,
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, 9X, ME, XP, and Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003.
I think I have a knack for explaining just why your computer is
doing what it's doing and for helping you get it to do what *you* want it
to do! And I make the process fun!
As a guest lecturer at Purdue University, Calumet in Hammond, I taught
basic computer concepts and introductory and advanced Microsoft Office. I
have also taught classes in radio newscasting and newswriting at Butler
University in Indianapolis and at Columbia College in Chicago.
I was a radio news anchor for 23 years. The last 12 years of my career
were spent at WMAQ-AM in Chicago where my special assignments included
anchoring gavel-to-gavel coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial. I also
partnered with Pat Cassidy in the mornings. When WMAQ went off the air in
July, 2000, Pat moved on to Chicago All News station WBBM-AM. I went
in a different direction. I am a graduate of Northwestern University's
Medill School of Journalism, holding both Bachelor and Master of Science
Degrees in Broadcast Journalism. I hold a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Internet/Web Development from Purdue Cal and I do sub-contracting work for the Website Coordinator.
